- Key terms and concepts (bills, resolutions, committees, etc.).
30 minutes: The Legislative Process
- Steps from bill introduction to becoming law.

- Assignment: Read Article I, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution.
Engaging with Constituents
30 minutes: Constituent Services and Communication
- Understanding the needs of your constituents.

Hour 2: Building Community Relationships
30 minutes: Establishing local offices and staff

30 minutes: Course Review and Enrollment

- Take and pass the entrance exam for enrollment into the lottery.
